Here you can learn about the different unit types of the game. There are three creature categories: Player, Neutral and Enemy creatures.
Every worker has an inventory. You can view what a worker is currently carrying by selecting the creature and clicking on the inventory/bag button on the right hand side. When a worker follows an order, for example to lumber wood, the worker will decide if it’s currently capable of completing that order. If it is, it will walk to the tree, gather wood and carry the resource back to an empty container to store the resource for you.
When a worker discovers an enemy, they will engage in a fight. However, if they are about to die, they will flee and try to find a shrine to heal their wounds. If there is no shrine available or if mana reserves in a shrine are too low, then they will run to the Dungeon Master for protection.
Depending on the orders you assign, workers will decide what is more important. For example, if you give an order to mine rock as well as an order to place a trap, the workers will first place the trap and then mine the rock. (More info about order priorities to be announced soon.)
The Dungeon Master is a leader of your colony. Once a fellow worker, the Dungeon Master has gained a lot of experience and transformed into a wise warrior and capable wizard. If your colony shrinks to below three workers, the Dungeon Master has the ability to summon new workers using a spell. Click the Dungeon Master and then the Summon Minion button on the left hand side. If the Master is hurt, he can use a healing spell to regain life points.
Like the workers, the Dungeon Master must be fed and sleep in order to function efficiently. If your Dungeon Master dies the game is over.
Boars live in the wilderness. They are not aggressive but will defend themselves once attacked. If you manage to kill a boar make sure to send your Minions to collect the meat and fur that the boar drops. Fur can be used to make the Dungeon Master’s bed.
Enemy creatures venture from a city, fort or village to your dungeon in order to enrich themselves. Your scouts will report when enemies have been sighted which is updated on your world map. Once the enemy icon reaches your dungeon, enemies will enter the game on one of the four map corners - whichever is connected by the road to your dungeon.
Be careful, because these creatures will try to enter your dungeon and find treasure chests, tables, shrines and other containers for valuables such as gold or rubies. If they find what they are looking for they will steal it and leave your dungeon with the loot. Whatever doesn’t interest them will be destroyed along the way. Even if you decide to change the layout of your dungeon, enemies will adapt to your caves and corridors in order to find loot.
Be strategic, place traps to protect valuable areas, hide treasure where you can, but make it also accessible to your needy workers.
The bandit is an aggressive tomb raider who goes into dungeons to steal valuables and destroy things he encounters. Not as sophisticated as common heroes, this enemy doesn’t have any magical spells, nor does he have special abilities. He is also lightly armored and carries a dagger.
Chaos Warriors do not appear as often as Bandits, but when they do, your dungeon better have its defenses in place. Their brutal strengths will level a worker to the ground in a few hits and destroy your valuables in seconds. And they never come alone.
In terms of life points, the archer is the weakest Enemy type. However, his ranged attack counters this weakness and makes the Archer a fierce enemy, especially out in the open. The archer carries a limited supply of arrows and should be an easy target when out of ammo. But beware, do not store arrows in reach of an Archer!
This section lists all of the raw resource that can be found, harvested or mined.
Objects that can be crafted are listed here. To make an item, collect the required resources in a suitable container. A container is an object which can store other objects. Examples are the Workshop or a Chest. Not every Container can craft every item. For example, you cannot craft a Furnace in a chest; for that you need a Workshop. You can find a list of all the craftable items for each container by opening up the container and clicking on the dedicated blue print button. You can also find all possible blue prints by clicking on the blue print button on the right hand side of the game panel. The actual crafting blueprints will be added to the website when they are finalized; during alpha development many blue print recipes change for various reasons, but mainly due to game balancing.
Use walls to build rooms and corridors. You can rebuild any wall you destroyed and thus recreate the dungeon layout that works best for your colony.
